HUMAN INTERVENTION IN OUR "CHIMP THINKING"
DON'T THINK, OR ACT, LIKE A CHIMP IN YOUR LIFE

↓  →
Luckily, through evolution, we grew, on top of our animal structure, an added unique human part.  It is why we are humans and not just animals. We get to live a human life or we get to choose a more chimp like way of living, leaving behind us the human life we could have lived - one that is at a high level of life, where we are free of the neurotic emotionalism and anxiety of the chimp, one wher we feel fulfilled

It is your choice: to live and be more of a monkey or to be fully human...

Obviously, to manage our brains, we must learn how they work and how to work them.  Few of us do, so we end up being "the effect of" our chimp brains.  If you are going to live your life as a full human being, you can only do so by learning to master the operation of your brain, so that you do not just drift thorughout life in a chimp level of life...

While we are, of course, connected to our chimp and to feeling those feelings, we are still capable of  intervening and creating a different set of feelings in the chimp (ones of safety, don't worry I'm in charge) and creating those distinctively human feelings related to meaning, values, fulfillment, satisfaction....

Indeed, in the book I am writing, tentatively titled "Smart (and easy) Self Control" (link to it when it is done through Books page), the first Grand Rule is "Stop, breathe, think". If you want a grand life, you MUST realize and practice this.
