DISCUSSION OF THE TIERS

(Look at my section on the Tier 2 person that I wrote as part of my review of Ken Wilber - The Integral Life Philosophy - my description is a key to setting a standard for your living life, so I suggest you read the recommended section on that page!  I would recommend printing it and using it in your life plan.).

Some people are highly knowledgeable and "cognitive" but have not achieved the actual power to create the results that are desired (in the real world!), yet they consider themselves to be at Tier 2.  But a person is not at Tier 2, until all the pieces have grown to the plain of total being in that tier.

We are born with the cognitive ability to create living life at the highest level, yet many people do not choose to grow and learn much.  Some stop part way to Tier 1, some stop at almost Tier 1, perhaps not seeing that life could be incredibly greater.  Perhaps 2% of the population could be at Tier 2, per those who comment on Integral Theory.

You might wish to, after you read the description I wrote for Tier 2, rate yourself on each core area above, from a 1 to 10 (10 being the highest) to see where you might increase your level of functioning.  Alternatively, you could just put an "x" on the chart of the areas of life, relative to the tier you are at and how far you have progressed..

WHAT IS IN THE TIERS?

Tier 3 - Self Actualized

Totally self-actualized, with no blocks to being powerful, with high energy, a "transcended" self, a rare being - and a level you need not reach to be perfectly happy.
It can include transformative thinking, controlling the environment and even some of the elements...

Tier 2 - Able to produce any desired effect(see the description on the Ken Wilber page)

Able to produce any desired effect I want, life-effective, of the highest productivity,
Problems solved, now operating solely on passion and purpose, and no longer from fear
You are in a state of calm coherence, fully integrated, living in full integrity
Results oriented, objective/rational thinker, fact-based rational thinker
High homeostasis, energy, vitality
Practical, functional wisdom
Interested in deeper, closer relationships
100% responsiblitly, growth mindset, power mindset, value mindset (see The Mindsets)

Tier 1 - Somewhat effective

Learned to be somewhat effective in life, socialized, still susceptible to wasting time, still run by some impulses and "feelings"...but passed the "on the way" lower barriers to life

On the way to Tier 1 (Must learn to handle/solve these barriers/problems)

Stuckness, needing approval, unsolved problems, anxious, approval oriented not   results oriented, distracted, an external reference (as opposed to internal, self reference), stuck in the metaphysical thinking (in mind), less able to get results..., interested in being entertained, dependency, victim, comfort mindset

We must do the learning to handle ALL of the above.  The suggested paths are indicated below, at the end of this piece.

THE PROGRESSION

We evolve, we handle knowledge in different ways. We tend to move through these stages:

Which level are you at?  Which level do you really want to be at?

We live in truth.

We have wisdom - enlightened, we can lovingly apply our knowledge to world affairs.

We can personally apply the information in our lives.

We comprehend meaning from the facts.

We become aware of facts, data, information.

We are unaware.

The Role Of Effective Thinking In Having A Better Life - Where on this spectrum from ignorance to wisdom do you live?

REMEMBER THE FINAL MEASURE OF IT ALL

Where you are at in life and any of its areas are not measured by how smart you think you are nor how good you look and how well you talk a good game.

The ONLY measure is the results you get in life.  And the ultimate "result" is happiness, without anxiety and stress or ongoing problems.

And the ONLY PATH to the higher levels is significant, practical life learning.  Not learning this as early as possible in life has one wasting a large portion of life.

“We are not given a short life but we make it short, and we are not Ill-supplied but wasteful of it.”
                                       Seneca

There is an abundance of opportunity in life, but we waste it in trivialities, misdirection, seeking "relief" or escape, being anxious (or feeling guilty), being stressed, and just plain inadequately living life and not harvest true "life value".

WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS

Get on a selected, intense, committed life learning path, such as the key one recommended in The Paths page.  Just follow the key path and you'll find a way to set aside the time to learn and to live a much higher level of life relatively quickly, and on a continuing richer, higher level of life.

Building A Powerful, Effective, Happy Human Being

Ken Wilber, the "philosopher of the 20th century, in his Integral Theory, uses something like these "tiers" though he goes "all the way" to very high levels (that are somewhat speculatively created) all the way to "global mind" and then "meta mind".  Those are close to the term Tier 3 that I am using, but not so "necessarily" "selfless" and locked into benefitting society, though there is a strong opening to doing such.
