MY HEROES AND MY SUPERHEROES
INSPIRING AND LIFE CHANGING

MY "STORY" ABOUT THIS

Over the years, I have chosen heroes and superheroes to use as models and/or for inspiration.  For many of the years, I held an unrealistic view of who they were, holding them as being beyond human, in a sense  But now I know that they are just sentient beings like the rest of us.  Yet they were fortunate enough to have something that clicked in their lives, some drive to create something beyond their own comfort.

LISTS FOR INSPIRATION, FOR MODELS

I have listed those people on this site, not for you to use as heroes but to serve as some possible heroes and to get the feel for who heroes are.

Along the way of my "heroing", I realized that I did not want to emulate anybody who didn't live a life I would love, so I went through the process of distinguishing between them in Great 'Men', But Did They Live Great Lives?

FROM INTIMIDATION TO...

I addressed my being intimidated by the concept of heroes in a quasi-poem: Could Be A Hero, from which I later derived:  Can Be A Hero - This Is My Pledge.

I initially looked for inspiration from my initial list People I Admire, People Who Inspire

From there I went to What's Possible - Implementers Of Super Ideas For The Future.

Which then lead me to begin to profile some of my Super-Heroes.  I list them, for now, in the sidebar, and am adding a few as I get further into developing this.

So take a look at the list and link to the individual pages of heroes or super heroes if you are interested.
