THE STEPS TO FOLLOW IN PLANNING
It is best to use an established workbook, such as Medium Brief Plan Workbook/Forms or
And then one should use a form (forms listing) that is already established to lead one down the path.
THE PLANNING STEPS
I. Determine what you want.
Make a want out of any "not want".
II. Determine where you are vs. where you want to be. A skippable step, but a valuable one to
do. (Yes you can “impute” the gap, but I believe it is also, at some point, valuable to define
it more clearly.)
A rating system as to where you are (usually a scale of 1 to 10) versus where
you want to be (also rated the same way) helps you determine the gap to
close.
III. Lay out all the steps needed to get from where you are to where you want to be.
Follow the steps, using priorities.

IV. Measure, monitor progress.
V. Revise and improve or add to the plan as you go
In the Planning Notebooks And System page, go down to "LIfeplans, Forms To Use, In General", under the Goal Modules for each area, for complete individual goal planning by area. Or, under the same section, click on "Goal Form, One Page, Including Action Steps" or "Goal Form, Three Pages", both slightly above the Goal Modules heading. Both are in document form for easy use.
Then just click on the relevant notebook in that section and the table of contents will guide you to the pieces you can insert in the plan or you can use the alternate Medium Brief Plan Workbook/Forms.
