WHY AND HOW TO USE (FREE) GOOGLE DOCS
INSTEAD OF WORD OR PDF

WHY NOT TO USE WORD OR PDF

Microsoft Word documents may not be compatible with your device and sometimes not even readable.  Unfortuanately, I started with Word documents, which mostly could be picked up as "text" documents.  To read any Microsoft Word 2007 document on the site (or any site), download the free viewer:  Word Viewer (provided by Microsoft).

PDF, while readable with the free Adobe Reader, is not, without special software that you pay for, editable.  I would like to be able to provide something that is more easily usable, especially forms that you can easily use.

FREE GOOGLE DOCS, EASY AND USABLE!

Obviously Google is powerful and around to stay.  They provide many Google services for free.

With this, I will be able to include a link to the actual document I want you to have. (I follow this procedure:  Share Google Drive Files.)

As the person who clicks on the link, it will simply open for you to view on the web even if you do not have a free Google account.  (However, it is so easy to open up a free account that I'd recommend that you do it: Create Your Google Account.)

If you want to save the document, then it is best to open a Google account and save it in Google Drive (just click on the triangle symbol after you've clicked on the "nine dots" up in the right corner - easy).  You get huge amount to store for free, so there is no cost.   (You can, also, just do a copy and paste into a word processing document of any sort where the software is on your computer.)
